COMMUNICATION POLICY

5 Electronic communication is essential for sharing news and information with our employees/ sub-contractors. Our communication will be timely, appropriate, and related to participants, NDIS, and changes in regulations in the industry and the company.

5.1 COMMUNICATION METHOD

Decent Care uses a range of electronic tools to communicate with our employees/sub-contractors. Decent Care may use E-mail, WhatsApp, and SMS to contact or provide information to their employees. It is the employee’s responsibility to respond to emails and other forms of communication. All communication and updates, will be conveyed via email and therefore employee’s/sub-contractors responsibility to check their emails on a regular basis.

5.2 NON-COMPLIANCE

Employees/sub-contractors may face disciplinary action for not responding to emails, SMS, and WhatsApp messages. If there are any changes in NDIS regulations and company policy it will likely be provided through an email and if an employee is unaware of the changes regardless of receiving their emails there might be a temporary suspension in employment until the matter has been sorted.
